Role Value Proposition:
The successful candidate will help drive Metlife US Group Benefits customer communications. He or She will define, discover and design customer communications that differentiate MetLife and deliver long term value and growth for the business. The Senior Marketing Associate, Customer Solutions Marketing will be able to take Customer Marketing translation and help create strong differentiating communications by working closely with the Regional Master Brand , Marketing Science, and Communications and Campaign Delivery teams to create relevant communications. He/She will stay ahead of emerging technologies and up to date on innovative trends to deliver solutions that keep MetLife ahead of the competitive landscape. He/She will implement strategic and creative briefs that outline the consumer insight, communication plan, business case, and success measures to develop content and communications materials, through digital, print, audio-visual, video, graphic and photographic mediums, that meet the needs of the business.
Operational Business Experience – the incumbent will develop a keen understanding of the Marketing strategies and key offerings to contribute valuable customer insights, competitor intelligence and evaluate marketing solutions for recommendation. He/she will do this by:
Demonstrating a clear passion for the customer and a willingness to immerse him/herself fully in the details of MetLife and the Group Benefits business
Gain a deep understanding of MetLife’s target customers, and build a strong capability to translate their wants and needs to drive compelling communications
Help Co-create with Customer Solutions to drive a keen focus on tackling key business challenges and meeting business objectives
Collaboration and Influence – the incumbent will work closely with various business and marketing support teams and numerous peers to help define, deliver and execute the business strategy. He / she will do this in many cases via virtual teams in a highly-matrixed environment. He / she will succeed by:

Supports the development of value propositions that differentiate MetLife in the market with broker and employers
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
3-5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc…)
Demonstrates Business Acumen – Applies a deep understanding of how value is created for MetLife to effectively deliver business objectives and goals
Drives for Results – Sets aggressive goals and is accountable for continuously driving improved performance across the team
Shows Customer Curiosity – Builds a deep understanding of our customer by asking the right questions, collecting and analyzing the right data
Develops Fresh, Actionable Insights – Combines multiple learnings into powerful, actionable insights
Takes an External Perspective – Collect and analyze a broad range of external information to inform agile business decision-making
Delivers Differentiating Solutions – Works effectively with the business to define, prioritize and deliver the solutions needed to add value
Optimizes Marketing Performance – Collects and interprets data to measure performance against goals to drive continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Experience with SharePoint/OneDrive is a plus
