Job Description

The internship program at Hussmann Corporation is a career development program designed for college students working towards their bachelor’s degree, or recent graduates. This 12-week paid internship will allow participants to gain practical, hands-on work experience and develop career potential. During this time, students will be exposed to a number of real-life work experiences, which may include:

  • Construct a Hussmann Training Plan which is designed for the function within which you will be working, in this case on an IT team supporting an Business Intelligence & Application Development

  • Work with your assigned IT team to take online courses and learn in a mentor / protégé relationship on typical department activities and plans

  • Produce Training Plans using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other available tools

  • Support Program package process and documentation (including SSIS, Adeptia, SQL)

  • Development of Excel (other) dashboards for daily health monitoring

  • Trend metrics for resource/work allocation

  • Smaller New Demand ETL work (SSIS, Adeptia).

  • Smaller, standalone New Demand Dashboard Reporting or other.

  • Ability to protype webpage/application or small mobile app tracking application metrics

Required Experience

  • Must be pursuant of a Bachelors or Masters degree

  • Must have a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
