Job Description As a Sr. Manager Software Development you would be leading the sales experiences that would be serving all of Frontline. You would be managing multiple scrum teams in a true devops agile setting. These teams would have devs, SDETs, TPMs, Scrum Master. We work in a very fast paced environment delivering features real fast. Responsibilities Identify market opportunities and define the product and technology roadmaps based on a strong understanding of consumer needs and in-depth data analysis. Actively plan and manage a portfolio of high quality products through end-to-end product lifecycle of envisioning/investing/sustaining/retiring. Execute the design, development, and operations of systems that are highly performant and maintain high availability. Maintain knowledge of new developments in area of specialty and incorporate these innovations where appropriate. Drive innovation, improvement and adoption of industry leading practices including open source, CI/CT/CD, cloud, microservices/container architecture Lead a team and effectively organize resources appropriately to achieve business objectives. Accountable for product budget, delivery and service performance, optimizing cost of service delivery, ensuring services are meeting or exceeding service levels. Qualifications Deep understanding and proficiency in building mobile apps from scratch using at least one mobile language (Swift, Java, Objective-C, etc.). Experience with multiple platforms is preferred. Managed teams of Mobile development developers. Expertise in designing testable software and building large scale, complex applications. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. Passionate about writing clean, well organized, and production-ready code. A portfolio of Apps or SDKs already built and in the App Store or Google Play. Strong technical background in latest tech stack like Springboot, Angular, API development, API best practices, swaggers. Async UI processing technologies like service workers. Strong knowledge on ELK stack and technologies like no sql databases, time series databases. Have a command on Observability of disparate technologies and handle on micro service patterns. Strong knowledge of container technologies like dockers and k8 platforms Demonstrate cross-functional leadership by working collaboratively with business leadership, Enterprise IT, and key internal/external partners to align all parties and deliver product and technology vision. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
