The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Emmanuel College invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position at the Lecturer level for the 2020-21 academic year with the possibility of renewal. A PhD in Chemistry is required as well as a commitment to teaching General Chemistry courses, both lecture and labs; additional experience with chemistry for nursing is desirable. Lecturers teach four courses per semester and will participate in Department and College-wide service activities. The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Emmanuel College is located in the Wilkins Science Center (2009), blocks from the Longwood Medical Area, and is equipped with excellent facilities and instrumentation.
