Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Material Outbound Management
To make sure the warehouse has correct shipping lists.
To produce documents for export use which should be 100% matching with material shipped out. (Including qty, PO number, weight, dim, COO, etc)
To coordinate with Customer, warehouse and on hand stock to arrange air shipment if necessary.
To generate reports to reflect outbound performance.
To resolve AR issues related.
- Sales order and material forecast Management
To make sure all sales orders going thru EDI or out of EDI are correctly maintained into SAP and are generated to PR.
To make sure customers and purchasing team are all aware of the new sales requirements and fulfilment capability.
To generate reports to reflect order fulfilment performance and bottleneck and work with team for solution.
- Inventory Management
To read inventory report and analysis stock aging and health level and delivery proposal to help with inventory cost reduction.
Assist Purchasing team for safety stock set up if necessary.
Assist on Inventory reconciliation after physical count.
2-5 years automotive experience in a related field
Strong skills in Microsoft office. (Strong skills in Excel is a must)
Strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills
International shipping experience preferred
Good Problem Solving Capabilities
Sourcing and Procurement Experience Preferred.
Self-motivated with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Skills in Supplier Negotiation, Cost Breakdown Analysis, and Commodity Price Index Contract Management are a plus.
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and understand a multi-cultural environment
- Knowledge of SAP
Employee will work in an office and warehouse environment. This job does not require travel other than to the local warehouse location. Employee may occasionally be required to work outside of standard business hours.
In the office environment, work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature is adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed in an office environment, with standard office equipment. On occasion, the employee may be required to lift office products and other miscellaneous items up to 20 pounds.
In the warehouse environment, the employee will work inside. The employee will work around moving objects/vehicles and will be exposed to humidity and slippery and uneven surfaces. The employee will walk and stand and may also be exposed to: heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
