The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Control Tower (CT) Specialist plays the role of specialist and coordinator. The specialist is expert on the IBP process, the business process and the tools to support the process. In the role of facilitator, the IBP CT Specialist acts as a supporting party to enable the team to focus on solutions and delivering on the goals. The IBP CT Specialist acts as a connection between the Control Tower, Mid-Term Planning (MTP) and the Integrated Reconciliation step (Regional IR), ensuring that the information in support of the Regional IR is prepared and available for IR participants to review prior to the meeting.

The role of the CT Specialist is to oversee the IBP framework, processes and team to ensure the IBP process governance is in place to deliver on the objectives including understanding of needs and ensuring continuous improvement and maturity of the process.

  • Lead and facilitate the weekly Control Tower meetings ensuring meeting goals are achieved through influencing the teams and escalating when needed.

  • Influence cross-functional teams involved in IBP Control Tower to ensure successful process.

  • Educate cross-functional partners on the IBP CT process and engage them in ongoing process as appropriate while maintaining process discipline, rigor and compliance.

  • Monitor KPIs and Dashboards to provide comprehensive reports, analytics and visibility around IBP CT outcomes for Regional IR/MBR.

  • Responsible for identifying best practices and supporting IBP CT continuous improvement and global alignment representing EMEA region.

  • Secure alignment on expectations from Demand/Commercial, Supply, Finance & Customer Interface.

  • Oversees the overall IBP CT process of the region to ensure proactive communication and recommendations regarding significant current/potential performance problems to (regional) IR/MBR.

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business or Economics or related areas

Minimum of 5 years experience in the seed business and logistics/operational planning

Business Acumen

Knowledge of supply chain processes and relates systems

Fluency in English is a must, other languages desirable
