Microsoft Corporation Principal Software Engineer in Bellevue, Washington

We are using modern web technologies such as Typescript, React, GraphQL for front-end development. Our back-end uses micro-service architecture using Azure Fabric. The product roadmap includes using AI and ML to improve the relevance of information.

We are looking for an architect who can help design/develop highly scalable and resilient product that can run 24/7 on millions of headless clients. You will be empowered to make product-wide technical decisions and directly impact the outcomes for a disrupting product.

Responsibilities

  • Build the architecture for client and server for V1 product.

  • Work with Engineering Manager, Program Management and UX Design for defining feature set.

  • Work with Teams Architects to align roadmaps.

  • Work with external partners on extensibility.

  • Investigating and prototyping new technologies and frameworks

Qualifications

  • 7+ years software industry experience spanning through server/service development and web client development (TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, React, C#, Azure Services)

  • Examples of data-driven successes using live site performance and telemetry data

  • Passion for delivering high quality/delightful user experience
