Microsoft Corporation Principal Program Manager in Bellevue, Washington

The Principle Program Manager role will lead how we think about using Microsoft Teams to pull through M365 and broader Microsoft capabilities as we seek to digitize and transform business processes and empower our Industry customers.

This is a senior individual contributor role operating at a strategic level. You see where the puck is going, and you know how to mobilize an organization. You will envision and shape our all up roadmap, drive for engineering execution excellence across the org, and represent the team across all non-engineering functions inclusive of business development, sales, and marketing.

You will be a role model for cross-organizational collaboration. You will work directly with internal and external partners and customers to deeply understand market insight and translate that insight into product features and roadmaps that enable Microsoft’s world-class sales field to meet the needs of our top customers.

  • Regularly assess the current state of industriesandwork across the org toshape overall product strategyand growth planevaluating which product areas to pivot, stop, hibernate, or invest

  • Be the authority onthepartner and start-up landscapeinRegulated Industriescollaborating withBusiness Development, Ecosystem, and Marketing teamsto buildsolutions that embrace third parties

  • Drive the next generation ofIndustry monetization strategy partnering deeply with Business Planning on pricing and packaging

  • Represent Microsoft at key industry events and executive customer meetings

  • Partner directly with key customer accounts and account teams to close and grow theM365businesses



  • 15+ years of related product development experience shipping multiple projects

  • Exceptional UX and UI instincts with deep customer empathy

  • Ability to think simultaneously about the ‘big picture’ landscape, with an attention to detail that ensures execution success

  • Skilled at prioritization, creating order and marshalling resources towards achieving a common goal

  • Ability to design and evaluate potential business models and understand financial implications of product decisions, including preparation of return on investment analysis and P&L models

  • Experience working across a range of teams that are both technical and non-technical – i.e. engineering, sales, marketing, finance etc.
