Description

As our Tooling Production Planner you will be responsible for planning tooling production to meet high mix with low volume demand requirements while ensuring on time delivery of product to customers. You will manage all aspects of production purchase orders including:

  • Setting weekly production schedule while taking into considerationtype of order, forecast, and production capacity.

  • Adjusting production schedule as needed per customer cancellationsand revisions.

  • Monitoring raw and finished goods inventories.

  • Researching any discrepancies.

  • Handling issues regarding revisions to orders, requests toexpedite, and quality.

  • Communicate any schedule changes to customer.

  • Monitor forecasts to allow material and manpower planning.

  • Make sure forecasts and bookings balance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in scheduling, particularly in ajob/machine shop environment

  • Experience in inventory management

  • Managing piece parts to assembly routing preferred

  • Experience with outside vendors a plus

  • Analytical experience (SAP a plus)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
