Your Career

We are looking for self-driven individuals with take ownership and are passionate about solving technical challenges while working in a collaborative environment. Are you someone who is excited by the challenge of a fast-paced environment and dynamic work? Does working on something different every day excite you? Collaborating closely with software developers, you will help find solutions to customer’s current needs. This role involves testing many aspects of the Palo Alto Networks next generation firewalls - switching, routing, application identification, intrusion detection and more.

Your Experience

  • Having a passion for testing and learning

  • 6-10years of experience building and testing complex, highly scalable production systems.

  • BS or MS Degree in computer Science or related fields needed

  • Proven experience using Bash and Python to build automation frameworks

  • Proven experience with Linux troubleshooting and command-line tools

  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Experience with Cloud technology (AWS/Azure/GCP) a strong plus

  • Exposure to bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA and Confluence

  • Ability to work across product organizations, help identify the critical paths of components, and resolve dependencies

  • Active participation in customer/partner design meetings and general engagements

  • Knowledge of security and cloud technologies

  • Strong communication skills

  • M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

The Public Cloud Security team is responsible for building products that protect data, workloads and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. We help the customers in their journey to the public cloud by ensuring they have the best in class protection. The public cloud market has been growing at a very rapid rate for the last few years. As more and more enterprises demonstrate public cloud, there is an insatiable demand for securing workloads in public cloud. With the recent acquisition of two leading companies in this space - RedLock and Evident.io, Palo Alto Networks is the market leader in this space. This engineering group is part of our recent acquisition of RedLock and Evident.io.
