Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM CIO's mission is to create a productive environment for IBMers, continuously improving the work experience. Toolbox@IBM provides IBMers with a wide range of desktop and software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools that help with desktop backup, collaboration, design, DevOps, incident management, and Agile tracking and planning tools.
Our Toolbox@IBM ProdApps team is looking to add a Cross Systems Services Specialist to the team providing critical support and end user engagement for our centralized Jira@IBM and ZenHub@IBM offerings. This role will provide key support in the ongoing daily operations of these two strategic tools, engaging end users, building and maintaining robust end user communities. The Cross Systems Services Specialist will provide insight to common issue and usage trends and will facilitate the Jira@IBM Sponsor User Council and ZenHub@IBM User Guild to engage key users in managing and enforcing tool governance.

You will have the experience or the capacity to learn quickly and apply the following technical skills:
Familiarity with and/or experience using Issue Tracking tools such as Jira Software and ZenHub
Application User and Group Management
Managing user requests for application customization, integration, and migrations
Communication with user communities regarding, support tickets, unplanned outages, and maintenance windows
Developing and maintaining application governance and end user training documentation
End User support and training
You will possess the following Soft Skills
Facilitating End User Engagement activities
Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment
Excellent problem solving and process implementation skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to partner with our IT staff to coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system migrations

Agile Project Management knowledge/experience
Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering
Wicked sense of humor and outside interests, because all work and no play is boring
Periodic travel may be required.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work/military experience
Experience in an agile environment
2 plus years in an IT customer facing role.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Experience in Database and/or Server Administration
Experience managing VMWare ESXi
Linux Terminal skills
Experience administrating Jira Software or ZenHub Enterprise
Experience with New Relic or Pager Duty
Familiarity with Google Web Store / Firefox Add Ons
