Dell Director, Storage CoC in Austin, Texas

Leads segment demand planning actions including market analysis, execute marketing campaigns and sales enablement programs to increase sales growth, achieve pipeline goals, grow business and expand market share for the Storage product portfolio in the segment


  • Leads the storage business and field activities for CoC

  • Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the server growth with these segments

  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.

  • Drives product strategic initiatives with inside sales teams, mid-market and acquisition customers including program development, communication and developing comprehensive marketing recommendations for the region.

  • Develops marketing campaigns, evaluates pricing, promotions and develops strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.

  • Manages the marketing mix and sales enablement such as the preparation of sales material and tools to ensure sales teams are well positioned to sell the portfolio

  • Drives enablement programs, training and insights to improve coverage and close rates of the inside sales teams

  • Applies broad knowledge of company’s product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities in the segment

  • Oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.

  • Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/solutions alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products.

  • Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities.


  • Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in managing and driving inside sales activities, knowledge of pricing and promotions will be an advantage
