Sutter Health Department Secretary, Infusion Center in Auburn, California
Performs a variety of secretarial and complex clerical tasks, utilizing knowledge of office systems, procedures, hospital regulations, the electronic health record and interdepartmental functions.
High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of medical terminology course work.
Experience in health related office procedures/business skills. Must have previous experience in a responsible secretarial position, in a health care setting. Preferred to be related to Infusion Services or Oncology.
Skills and Knowledge
Must type 50 wpm. Demonstrated proficiency in Office Suite, Word, general use of computer, fax machine and phone system. Demonstrated ability to compile statistical data and to be proficiency in all oral and written communications. Demonstrated proficiency in patient scheduling, Sutter EMR or equivalent. Under the direction of the department director or designee, prioritizes and manages multiple demands in an ever changing environment.
