Oracle Principal Product Manager (CD) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle s Cloud Infrastructure Strategic Partner Team is looking for hands on technical Product Managers with executive finesse and the skill and expertise to build strategic technical partnerships and help develop and execute partner Go-to-Market programs. Your success is achieved by the following:

  • *

  • Proactively defining and driving new horizontal technology partnerships and expands existing new solutions and customer use cases and scenarios.

  • Developing deep understandings of internal and external customer segments and driving product and partnership strategy and providing direction that translate into high value features and customer wins.

  • Developing prospective customer engagement plans and leveraging existing and new channels to onboard and move our customers to success using OCI and partner solutions

  • Evaluating, measuring, and reporting on strategic effectiveness of program and partnership efforts.

  • Customizing and optimizing customer-facing content to aid in driving sales plays and field marketing program, including live events, hands-on-labs, webinars, digital campaigns, etc.

  • Influencing product teams to invest and iterate on the right product features.

In order to accomplish the broad range of functions, your skillset includes:

  • 8 years of hands on enterprise technology product management experience.

  • 4 years of Cloud Infrastructure experience as technologist or product strategist.

  • Strong executive presence with influencing and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Track record of success in driving large, complex projects and breaking down into manageable pieces, developing specifications and executing on schedule.

  • Experience developing and launching GTM programs and developing customer wins.

  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability in an end-to-end project lifecycle.

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, computer science, or related field. MBA preferred.
