Oracle Course/Curriculum Dev 4-Training in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

Oracle University Principal SaaS Cloud Product Manager


Oracle Cloud University (OCU) is a P&L business that educates customers, partners and employees on all of Oracle cloud services including all of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. The team offers training via digital subscriptions featuring over 4000 hours of cloud content built on a modern platform that offers knowledge checks, skill paths, gamification and live analytics on learner progress. The organization also teaches over 500 live cloud classes a year featuring cloud content and hands on labs to practice on live cloud environments.

ThisPrincipal Product Manager rolewill work as part of a team that is the central resource and driving force for the global rollout of Oracle SaaS Cloud Applications and related instructor led and digital content. Plan and source the content creation and delivery of digital training by building a network of supporting product experts.

  • Plan cohesive education offerings for SaaS Cloud Applications and curriculum and project manage their development to completion.

  • Engage with internal product teams and other key stakeholders to reach common goals associated with product release and ensure appropriate content coverage.

Keep abreast of new product releases, new product strategies and themes, and the potential for inclusion in Oracle University s digital offerings.

  • Manage courses and other content for Oracle University s SaaS Cloud Applications curriculum throughout the product life cycle, including product release, sustaining and end of life.

  • Provide support to regional teams on curriculum content, lab environment and coverage-related questions.

  • Able to assimilate and summarize information into salient learning objectives and key tasks in order to create training outlines

  • Foster strong relationships with product management, consulting, support and other subject matter experts.

  • Able to comprehend and speak knowledgeably about technology

  • Able to create credible recommended learning tracks from list of available content

Additional Requirements

  • BS/MS in a technical discipline preferred
