Job DescriptionThe Senior Business Analyst will provide analysis and software quality assurance for MIS applications including the internally developed EMS; Flash; IT+ and portions of the CS Web applications. This position requires an individual who can successfully work in a dynamic environment where priorities change based on the most current business needs. The assignments are deadline driven and require an individual to be able to communicate problems, concerns, and risks in a timely and clear fashion in order to minimize project risks. In this position, the Senior Business Analyst will interact with the business team customers, and also with the rest of the MIS team who are implementing and maintaining future projects and current features.Primary Responsibilities#8226;Lead, coordinate, or participate in the requirements gathering and analysis for MIS and Lotus projects and release items#8226;Perform General Acceptance Testing, including:#8226;Strive to understand the business goals of the project to ensure customer expectations are met#8226;Creation of test plans#8226;Creation of test cases#8226;Documentation of test results based on achievement of business requirements, issues found and desired enhancements#8226;Record and document issues found during testing and assist in the prioritization of open issues#8226;Work with developers and DBAs to identify a resolution for open issues#8226;Communicate critical issues found to MIS management in a timely fashion#8226;Coordinate and organize user testing, demonstrations, and documentation#8226;Coordinate documentation of functional requirements related to MIS applications#8226;Lead project development teams#8226;As a member of the operational support team provide rapid response and issue resolution to the business teams for production issues#8226;Perform work on special BA projects as assigned - for example: automated testing, system documentation, user demonstrations, dry run testing, etc.#8226;Continue to refine knowledge in all MIS-supported systems to gain a more well-rounded understanding of overall company processes#8226;Take input from Lead and appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback#8226;Consistently deliver high-quality services to our client#8226;Assists in the facilitation of team and customer meetings#8226;Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully to customers and the MIS teamLeadership#8226;Generate enthusiasm among team members#8226;Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles and the ability to mentor others#8226;Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model for the team#8226;Facilitates effective team interaction#8226;Ability to acknowledge and demonstrate appreciation for team member's contributionsEducation#8226;Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experienceExperience#8226;2+ years providing exemplary service and support to internal or external customers#8226;Experience in one or both of the following is HIGHLY preferred:#8226;Tax Accounting - Professional MIS Applications (EMS, Flash, IT+ portions of CS Web)#8226;OR experience utilizing other Order to Cash, Customer Relationship Management and similar enterprise applicationsRequired Knowledge Skills#8226;Project leadership (Agile Waterfall development methodologies)#8226;Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with MIS technical staff, other
