Zebra Technologies Project Manager – ETL (Agile) in Alpharetta, Georgia
Project Managers own project launch, planning, control, and delivery against timeline and budget metrics for assignments within their area of responsibility.
Works with the product management team and the SMEs to understand the requirements and create the Epics and Stories
Works closely with the Program Manager to provide statuses, align with the overall program goals
Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.
Works with the development team to facilitate all the cadences of the Agile methodology
The technical PM has past Web development experience to understand the actual work involved in stories/Epics, how to sequence them, how to structure them and how estimations are done etc.
Understands the technical aspects of the PBIs (Stories and Epics) and provides guidance to the development team where necessary and engages the Architecture team as needed
The technical PM will be responsible for the delivery of the project with the highest quality and in a timely fashion
Bachelors Degree required
8+ years of experience
5+ years of experience managing projects using Agile, Kanban and six Sigma methodologies
Experience managing large scale BigData projects and or AWS cloud based projects is a must
Ability to work on multiple projects, all complexity levels, in an environment with changing priorities
Has a track record of building and retaining high performance technical teams
Good understanding of big data components and architecture and data analytics environment is a plus
Ability to promote QA Automation and affinity to work with QA Automation Teams
An exceptional communicator who can work effectively in a technical environment as well as in a non-technical business user community
Highly organized and able to maintain a vast number of relationships across the organization
Passion to keep up with big data community and cutting-edge technology
PMP, CSM preferred
