Manage and coordinate vendor relationships that have been contracted to provide equipment, machinery, supplies, and services for Employee Enablement and other SG&A spend categories, including programs such as vehicle fleet, corporate credit/purchasing cards, office supplies and furniture, and facility and property maintenance. Represent the company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.* Work within Water Care Operational Purchasing Group to ensure all administrative operations function efficiently and effectively across all facilities (e.g. company vehicles, corporate credit cards/p-cards, and others).* Manage cost savings initiatives within the Corporate Indirect spend category communicated by the procurement team.* Provide vendor and supplier oversight with regard to responsiveness and performance. Participate in vendor and supplier qualification and performance audit activities. Evaluate suppliers on the basis of the price, quality, and speed of delivery of their products and services.* Act as administrator for the company on vendor websites, providing end user support and training as needed to properly engage and exchange information via these systems as needed to ensure efficient business operations. Vendors and related systems could include travel management, expense management, car fleet management, etc.* Ensure tha t required documentation, i.e. certificates of analysis, certificates of conformance, use and handling instructions, etc. are provided and routed to appropriate parties.* Maintain data/information integrity. Ensure that vendor data is routed to appropriate personnel so that enterprise master data elements can be updated, including but not limited to material planning lead time, etc.* Be influential, enterprising and connected in performing duties in accordance with company values.* Perform other duties as required.Job Requirements* 4 year Degree or equivalent experience in a Business discipline preferred.* 1 to 3 years of direct functional experience. Candidates with previous chemical plant experience are preferred.* Working knowledge of general business practices.* Impeccable attention to detail, ability to work well with a team, and the ability to thrive in a high-stress fast-paced environment.* Comprehensive understanding of SAP, MS Excel, MS Word* Candidate must be able to perform essential functions of the job and working in a corporate office environment.* Maintain work area housekeeping in a customer-ready state in accordance with corporate, site and regulatory requirements.* When needed, employee must be able to wear personnel protective equipment while performing essential functions of the job, including but not limited to hard hat, safety toe work boots, safety glasses/goggles, and protective clothing.* The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
