US Tech AV/Audio Video Technician in Alpharetta, Georgia

Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire/possible of extension)

Job Description:

Looking for candidates as Audio Video Technician who can resolve customer issues in the areas of install, configure, and maintain computer, audio/video, and digital signage equipment on-site for one of our large clients. This role directly interfaces with the client and as such requires experience navigating technical matters with a high level of customer service and empathy.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual equipment, including monitors, audio devices, digital signage, and video conferencing systems. Perform cable runs for network and audiovisual equipment. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure functionality and reliability. Assist employees and visitors in using technology effectively. Troubleshoot technical issues related to audiovisual equipment and provide timely solutions. Keep inventory of audiovisual equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed. Train employees on how to use technology and provide user guides. Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs or replacements under warranty. Assist in planning and executing technical aspects of company events and presentations. Maintain an organized and clean environment. Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure in ticketing system.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proven experience setting up and maintaining computer hardware, audiovisual equipment, digital signage, and performing cable runs. Experience working with corporate hardware, software and equipment. Deep understanding of computer hardware components. Experience navigating technical issues with a high level of customer service and empathy. Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

High school diploma or G.E.D. Relevant coursework in audiovisual technology is a plus.

Experience:

Five or more years of field support experience.
