What Field Sales contributes to Cardinal Health

Field Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be complex in nature and may lead to a long term customer relationship. Responsible forprospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a business segment and geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.

We are committed to helping people receive disposable medical supplies and durable medical equipment at-home, as well as supporting those who care for them with operational and clinical expertise.

This position is directly part of the Edgepark Medical channel of Cardinal Health at-Home.Edgepark Medical Supplies is the industry leader in home delivery of disposable medical products, serving the chronically ill, and the growing aging population. We provide our customers with the resources to live their best lives by offering a wide breadth of products, an extensive network of insurance coverage, and excellent customer service. Edgepark is part of Cardinal Health, Inc. andcontracts directly with more than 1,300 managed care organizations (MCOs) to provide direct-to-patient home delivery of products, while also providing MCOs with value-added services that drive utilization, billing efficiencies and patient compliance.

  • This position will be responsible for the management of our sales territory and existing accounts in the Southeast (FL, GA, AL, NC, SC, WV, TN, KY)
  • Managed Care experience is highly preferred, as well as up-to-date knowledge of the MCO industry
  • Responsible for selling Edgepark Medical DME supply services to managed care organizations (MCOs), through case manager and C-suite level call points
  • Responsible for pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and contract negotiations
  • Our health plan focus is a multi-dimensional, high-level, complex sale (especially on payor side) that requires strong communication and organization abilities
  • Ability to engage in the full life cycle of contract negotiations, complex service agreements, portfolio negotiations, etc.
  • Ability to implement past experience in account management and healthcare sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Managed Care experience/ industry knowledge
  • Minimum of 4-6 years related sales experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% of time
  • Proven product knowledge in business area
  • Valid driver's license preferred
