JOB TITLE: Business Analyst SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Manager, Quality AssuranceSHIFT ASSIGNMENT: Days VACANCIES: 1JOB NUMBER: 19-12POSTED DATE: February 11, 2019REMOVE DATE: February 25, 2019GRADE: B/07WEEKLY MINIMUM: $1,088.80MAJOR DUTIES:Administers Standards/Requirements Management Program which includes analyzing requirements to determine applicability and compliance, management of requirements in database systems, and status tracking of requirements management processes.Analyzes business, administrative, and protective force processes to evaluate compliance and identify opportunities for process improvements. Prepares business related analyses and research on business performance. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in general business conditions and other related areas. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations. Completes complex assignments.Administers Performance Measurement Program which include administration of metrics software, preparation of reports, and internal customer interaction and support for metric development, data entry, and reporting.Develops training modules on Quality Assurance to keep the workforce informed and knowledgeable of QA trends, processes and best practices.Conducts validation of internal deficiencies from performed audits. Conducts verification of deficiencies from external agencies, including Department of Energy (DOE). Conducts reviews of deficiencies that cannot be validated to determine cause.Prepares department reports as required. Participates in assigned special inquiries and investigations.Must perform all responsibilities for environment, safety and health as defined in Procedure 1-3100 and adhere to the principles and functions of Integrated Safety Management.SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field of study; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceTwo years of professional experience analyzing and developing solutions to business issues, identifying requirements then determining organizational applicability and ensuring compliance with those requirements, or developing business processes and systemsExperience analyzing data to identify trends and performance levels; presenting data in a clear, concise method.Experience using databases, spreadsheets, and other business applications.Must be ableto obtain/maintain a DOE "L" security clearance. INTERVIEW PROCESS AND LENGTH: Interview will last approximately 1.5 hours and consists of the following: 1. Practical Exercise - 60 minutes 2.
