OES has 11 manufacturing and distribution centers strategically located across the U.S. and Canada.Job SummaryThe Production Shift Supervisor overseas/drives 5 daily fundamentals of the plant during work shift: Safety, Production, Quality, Preventive Maintenance, and Housekeeping. The hours for this shift are 10:00p- 6:30a.Essential DutiesLead/drive a ZERO injury safety cultureAudits all production related operations and ensures procedures are followedSchedules and assigns duties to employees to meet production requirementsConducts training classes and ensures that employees receive appropriate trainingMaintains production records as requiredWrites and reviews vops and creates team environmentIdentifies and addresses safety issues in a timely mannerLeads shift meetings and communicates information to employeesCommunicates with other supervisors and departments to share informationMonitors and establishes 5S standards and program for areaOperate machinery and equipment as needed in order to meet production requirementsResponsible for ensuring quality standards are followedResponsible and accountable for shift outputEvaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plansPrepare and submit progress tracking reportsDevelop and implement quality control programsRequisition supplies and materials to complete construction projectsInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with construction and safety codes, and other regulationsInvestigate damage, accidents, or delays at plant, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried outEducation/ExperienceAssociates degree or four years supervisory experience is preferredMinimum of four years of supervisory experience is requiredWorking experience with word processing and spreadsheets is requiredKnowlege/SkillsAbility to read and write reports, general communicationsAbility to figure and calculate amounts, such as percentages and volumes.
