TEMPORARY POSITION, UFL Inc, Ackerman, MS has Full time: 90-Forestry Workers 04/01/2019-11/30/2019 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perfom work described in this JO/Ad & must be available for entire period specified. Transport provided from designated locale to job site(s); begin: Ackennan, Choctaw County, NE MS non metro area; Continue into multiple areas: MS, GA, FL, TX, AL, LA, WV, TN, KY, OH, PA Minimum age due to travel: 18 yrs. Duties: use chainsaw, brush blade, or other hand-held equipment (Must have minimum 3-months experience operating commercial chainsaw/brushsaw.), uses�a chainsaw, brush blade, or other hand-held equipment, including chemical applicators to remove excess trees and other vegetation. Tree planting and spraying using back pack. Cuts brush and other vegetation, may move slash (wood debris) away fromroads, fire trails and trees and other activities as per OES/SOC 45-4011. Cooperate: display respect, attention to detail, complete tasks.Forest workers may have to walk long distances through densely wooded areas & remote areas; must perform extensive walking (approx. 15 miles/day), stooping, & bending while carrying a 501b pack & tools through variable weather, terrain conditions. Possible Saturday, no Sunday Possible holiday work. Possible weekly/daily hours: 35- 40+; 7A- 5P. Drug, alcohol, tobacco-free work zone; if Supervisor observes worker possibly beingunder the influence of drugs or alcohol then employer paid testing will commence and failure to participate or failed test dismissal. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform job.Employer will reimburse worker within first work week all relevant visa and border crossing fees. If worker completes half the employment period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed early, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
